I am a 40 year old activist, advocate, and photographer, I grew up in Monessen P.A.
I’ve lived here and in the greater Pittsburgh area most of my life. I’ve gone through my share of trials(life and criminal) and I’ve also had privileges that some others might not. Everyone deserves the opportunity and should have the right to fail and make mistakes finding themselves no matter how long it might take, no one is without value.
I was what some might have called and have been called a “worthless junkie” who failed to “just say No!”(over 5 years clean). I was lucky enough to have had a support system of friends and family who didn’t give up on me.
I understand others might not be so lucky and I want to be able to give them an opportunity to tell their story, to be able to show and promote the best part of themselves and their lives.
